A review of an innovative learning strategy on a complex phase-3 global study, focusing on how adopting a simulation-based training approach addressed several risk areas and identified unanticipated risks. Both leaders and learners stand to benefit from a simulation training methodology, which pinpoints relevant site-based trends to guide targeted monitoring strategies.

A holistic 360-degree methodology was used to analyze and address the role-specific requirements to ensure the right content was delivered to the right person at the right time. Case study simulations with analytics dashboards allowed the sponsor to evaluate which sites and roles were qualified to perform the procedures and who needed additional mentoring. This enabled a risk-based approach to site management. The methodologies used are applicable to both complex studies as well as DCTs.

Join us for this complimentary 60-minute webinar as our esteemed speakers will share practical insights and lessons learned in approaching complex global clinical trials. ;

Learning Objectives:

  • Explore how simulation-based eLearning was implemented to address complex protocol and procedural requirements for a Global Phase 3 Chronic Kidney Disease study
  • Describe the differences between traditional eLearning, simulation-based eLearning, and hands-on simulation training
  • Discuss operational considerations for deploying this type of training approach
  • Explain the value and impact of the training approach

Speakers :

Beth Harper, Chief Learning Officer, Pro-ficiency
